On the next pages, you will find seven incomplete statements about some aspect of working in groups. Underneath each statement are eight choices of ways one might complete the statement. You are to mark the answers that best describe you.

Sometimes several of the choices for a statement will describe you. Sometimes only one or two of the statement will describe you. You will therefore be given a "budget" of 10 points per statement. You can distribute those 10 points among the eight choices for a statement in anyway you choose. In extreme cases, you might assign all 10 points to only one choice. Or you might assign one or two points to each of the choices of that statement. This allows the inventory to capture more of the uniqueness of your specific blend of role behaviors.
